Unite the Clans to Control Ethnos
What was old has been made new again. The land of Ethnos has been rendered empty and a new Age is beginning. Someone must take up the mantle of Emperor. Will it be you?
In Ethnos 2nd Edition, players must take control of the various clans of Ethnos, gathering members and unleashing them into the six regions. Each clan has different special abilities, and depending on who you choose to lead your groups, different strategies can be employed. 2nd Edition includes updated rules and rules for Solo mode.
**INCLUDES PREORDER PROMO CLANS**
This promo pack contains 4 additional tribes and rules. It was a giveaway for buying the game on release.
The Cat Monks places additional cards in the Ally Pool and you may take up to two of them. But a party of Cat Monks score points at the end of the Age like they were one card smaller
The Platypus Sailors come with an additional board (like the Merfolk from the first edition). Whenever you play a Platypus Sailor party you advance on their board. You can score extra points at the end of the Age or trigger bonus spaces, where you can move control markers from one region to another.
The Opossum clan works like the Haflings from the original game. They have twice as many cards as the other tribes, but you are not allowed to place any control marker with a Opossum clan party.
The Mole Miners work like the Fairy promo from the original game. You may switch your Mole Miner Party for an already played party same size or smaller, and use their special effect instead.
